National Centre for Photography

Built in 1864, Ballarat's former Union Bank is currently transitioning into its new life as Australia’s only regional gallery dedicated exclusively to photography.

The National Centre for Photography is an extension of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale.

Once fully realised, it will house three galleries, a photo book library, workshops, a traditional black and white darkroom, and artist-in-residence apartments.
