Day 11 – Eleven Pipers Pipping

Zlatko Balazic has drawn his inspiration from the history of Ballarat for his interpenetration of Day 11. In 1907 Ballarat hosted the first-ever Australian Pipe Band Championship as part of the Grand National Eisteddfod of Australasia (Royal South Street Society) at the Ballarat City Oval.

Zlatko’s unique blend of skills in engineering and arts allows for the mixing of technology and art to present pieces of work that are both bespoke and unique.

Zlatko’s passion is to engage an audience through interacting with art utilising all sensors. Zlatko works with various media from animations and projections to hardware and working with materials such as composite Steel, Aluminium, timber, fabrics, Perspex. Utilising the latest state of the art microcontrollers, LED lighting, electronic sensors to construct artistic and interactive pieces of work.

The 12 days of Christmas Windows will surprise and delight. The collection of temporary artworks is inspired by the Twelve Days of Christmas.
