Day Nine – Nine Ladies Dancing

Samantha Thompson’s artistic interpretation of Day Nine will be a gleaming window display of nine ladies swirling and spinning with out a care in the world. Day Nine can be seen at Parent’s Place, 39 Sturt St.

Award winning artist, Samantha is a professional multidisciplinary artist and arts worker situated in regional Victoria. Printmaking and mixed media works that focus on feminism, domestic arts and death are common themes in her work. Her next exhibition will be held in Napier New Zealand in 2020.

The 12 days of Christmas Windows will surprise and delight. The collection of temporary artworks is inspired by the Twelve Days of Christmas.

Follow the trail of 12 Christmas windows, starting with the Partridge in a Pear Tree at Central Square and continue down through the streets to 12 Drummers Drumming in the Bridge Mall.
