Melinda has given the Day One – A Partridge in Pear Tree a local flavour, the first day of Christmas is a Rosella in a Gum tree. Her window can be found at Shop 3. Ground floor next to Cotton kids.
Melinda Muscat is a local Ballarat artist who works across a variety of art platforms, including painting, drawing, sculpture, fabric design and giftware. She has a love and passion for colour first and foremost. If you let it, colour can make the world a beautiful and happy place.
The 12 days of Christmas Windows will surprise and delight. The collection of temporary artworks is inspired by the Twelve Days of Christmas and will be a nod to local traditions, with an emphasis on the regional city, Ballarat’s heritage, First Nations peoples and our shared future.
Follow the trail of 12 Christmas windows, starting with the Partridge in a Pear Tree at Central Square and continue down through the streets to 12 Drummers Drumming in the Bridge Mall.
