Hooking Up with Dame Maxene at Frolic Festival

Hooking? Picking up? Don’t be knotty. The Divine Maxene will have you in stitches as she teaches a crochet class at the Lost Ones Basement Bar.

Entry fee includes the materials you will need to learn, including a crochet hook, yarn and pattern. Book ahead so you don’t miss out on a pack. Only limited numbers available.

This is a licensed venue. Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please note: This event will be sensory friendly. If you have specific requirements above flashing lights and loud sounds, please let us know. Apologies, this venue is not wheelchair friendly, it contains entry stairs and does not have accessible toilets.

The Ballarat Frolic Festival is an annual pride celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQA+) regional arts and culture. It runs for a full week and has plenty of events for everyone – all welcome.

Ballarat Frolic Festival envisage an inclusive Ballarat and surrounds where LGBTIQA+ people feel safe, connected, and proud; the broader community is welcoming; and our contributions to art, culture, and the community are celebrated.
