Back again, for 2019, the Timeline Festival will be bigger and more action packed than ever before. This is one of the major showcase events, which brings over 300 historical reenactors to the castle to highlight living history, historical reenactment and Live Action Role Play (LARP).

Two full days of arena activities including the joust of war, medieval and Viking battles, mounted skill at arms displays as much more. Outside the castle, there will be over 300 metres of living history villages, encampments, merchants and the HMB arena (Historical Medieval Battles).
