Monster Mugs – get the kids creative these school holidays.

Using the coiling method of construction children will create a mug which they will decorate with hand modelled monster features. They will be decorated with coloured slip (liquid clay) and may be personalised.

The mugs will make a great keepsake for the children, and being fired to stoneware temperature will be food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave save and oven safe.

While this project is a fun activity designed to stimulate the children, it also will hone both imagination, dexterity and fine motor skills, and explore the 3Dimensional object within space taking into consideration proportion, design and personal creativity.

Parents are welcome to also enrol in the workshop.

Pottery is a time consuming process with clay drying time and kiln firings, so please allow three to four weeks for your creations to be ready for collection.

If you are visiting Ballarat for the school holidays postage can be arranged for the additional fee of $9.00
