Spring in the Park is a community festival being held on November 16 (2pm-6pm) in the lush grounds of Ballarat’s Victoria Park.
The organisers have lined up a day full of live music, with performances from Ruby Gill, Floc, Gangz, Meraki Minds and Roy Darby as well as lots of other fun things to get involved in, including hand made and eco-friendly market stalls, face painting, activities, prizes and more.
This is a youth-organised and youth-run all ages community event and is drug, alcohol and tobacco free. Access and inclusion is taken seriously, everyone is welcome.
Spring in the Park is brought to you by the YAB (Youth Advisory Board) with the generous support of the Victorian Government via the Community Safety Networks, Bendigo Bank, The Push Inc via the Victorian Government Community Support Fund and the backing of the Highlands LLEN.
The YAB acknowledge this event is taking place on Aboriginal land. They pay their respects and give thanks to the custodians of the land, the Wathaurong people of the Kulin Nation, and extend this respect to any Aboriginal and First-Nations people who attend the event or have a connection with the land.
